Syllabus - Instrumental
- All classes are Own Choice. Selections must be taken from the following syllabi: RCM Flute 2010, Oboe 2006, Clarinet 2014, and Recorder 2008.
- Competitors must follow rules regarding performing from memory as stipulated in these syllabi.
- Repeats are to be omitted unless otherwise specified.
- In instrumental classes Level 5 or lower, competitors may have their instruments tuned by a teacher or other individual.
- Competitors requiring music stands must supply their own.
Special Needs
This class will be an open Class (no age limit). All instruments accepted. This class will be non-competitive, for adjudication only. Accompaniment is optional and must be arranged by the entrant. All special equipment/devices must be provided by the entrant. Original music (if available) to be provided to the adjudicator prior to the class beginning. Performance is limited to 5 minutes. Performance is entrant’s own choice. If adaptations (stickers, letters) on a keyboard need to be added, the entrant must provide their own instrument. Keyboard stand will be provided.
