Syllabus - Bands

1. Competitors in Orchestras, Bands and Ensembles must be enrolled as students in the schools they represent.
2. Conductors may be either professional or amateur. Conductors may conduct any number of organizations in the same class, but must not play with their Orchestra, Band or Ensemble.
3. The Festival Committee will not be responsible for loss or damage to any property belonging to participants or school boards.
4. Bands must supply their own music stands.
5. All bands must play two contrasting selections of their OWN CHOICE, which must be of equal difficulty.
6. DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS JANUARY 15.
7. Band competitions will be held at the group’s location with the adjudicator conducting a brief workshop following the performance.

The Adjudicator will travel ONLY to bands in Chatham-Kent; bands from outside Chatham-Kent must travel to Chatham. (Please indicate in the notes section of the registration form a preferred time for the adjudicator`s visit.)
